Effective date: 2026-06-15

Paleto converts photos selected by the user into art-style images entirely within the device. Photo conversion is processed on-device, with no transmission to a server.

1. Personal Information Processed
Paleto does not collect or store personal information on a server for account registration, login, account identification, analytics, or advertising.

The following information may be processed on-device while providing app features. If a photo selected by the user contains personally identifiable information, that photo may itself constitute personal information.
- Photo conversion: photo files selected by the user and the resulting converted images — processed on-device
- Saving: converted result images — saved to the device's photo library when the user taps the save button
- Sharing: temporary files of converted result images — created in device temporary storage when the user taps the share button

2. Purposes of Processing
Paleto processes information only for the following purposes.
- Converting user-selected photos into art styles
- Previewing conversion results
- Saving conversion results at the user's request
- Sharing conversion results at the user's request

The basis for processing is providing app functionality in response to the user directly selecting a photo and requesting conversion or sharing.

3. Retention and Use Period
Paleto does not store photos or conversion results on its own servers.
Temporary files on the device may be created to enable the sharing feature, and are deleted according to the operating system's temporary file management policy, or when the user clears app data or deletes the app.

4. Provision to Third Parties
Paleto does not provide personal information to third parties.
However, when the user transmits a converted image to another app or service via the app's share feature, that transmission occurs through the user's explicit action, and subsequent handling is governed by the policies of the selected app or service.

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
Paleto does not outsource personal information processing to external providers.

6. Destruction of Personal Information
Because Paleto does not store personal information on its own servers, there is no separate server-side destruction procedure.
App data and temporary files on the device can be deleted by: deleting the app, using the operating system's app data deletion feature, or clearing temporary files via the operating system.

7. Rights of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives, and How to Exercise Them
Because Paleto does not store personal information on a server, there is no server-held personal information subject to access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing.
Original photos, conversion results, and temporary files on the device can be managed directly by the user through the device or operating system features.

8. Automatic Collection Devices
Paleto does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, tracking SDKs, or any device that collects behavioral information for personalized advertising.

9. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
Paleto applies the following measures to protect personal information.
- On-device processing of photo conversion
- No server upload functionality
- No account, analytics, or advertising SDKs
- Access limited to photos the user has directly selected

10. App Permissions
Paleto may request the following operating system photo/media permissions for the stated purposes.
- Photo access permission: to load photos selected by the user
- Add photo (save) permission: to allow the user to save conversion results directly to the photo library

Each permission is used only for the stated purpose, and operates only when directly invoked by the user.
