Effective date: September 28, 2026 (revised) · Last updated: September 28, 2026

Squishy Tower (스퀴시타워, the "App") is an ASMR jump game in which you climb 30-floor towers on soft platforms. This policy applies to the App and its website (squishytower.sanglimsoft.com) provided by SangLimSoft (the "Company"). The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable laws.

The App has no sign-up or login, and your game progress is stored only on your device. However, to fix the game and track down errors, app usage statistics and error information are sent to a collection server operated by the Company after you agree on the consent screen shown when you first open the App (Section 4). Earlier versions of the App without the consent screen do not send this information. Below we separate what stays on your device from what leaves it.

1. Information Processed by the App
The App does not require sign-up or login, and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, advertising identifiers, or location.
So that you can continue your game, the following information is stored only on your device. This stored information itself is not sent to the Company's servers or to any third party, and the Company keeps no separate copy. However, the action records in Section 4 include parts of your game progress, such as floors reached.
- Game progress data: for each tower, the highest floor reached and whether you have cleared it, your best time to the summit and fewest falls, the stars you have earned, in-game currency such as coins, gems, and skin tickets, owned and equipped skins, quest and event progress, and the issue numbers of reward codes you have used
- Path of your best run: the positions your character passed through (every 0.1 seconds) and the time each floor was reached in the run in which you reached a tower's summit fastest. It is used to show a translucent character following this path in your next run
- Purchase records: records of items granted through in-app purchases
- Settings: sound effects and haptics on/off
- Consent record: the policy version you agreed to and the time of consent
- Install ID: a random value created when you first launch the App. It is an arbitrary value unrelated to your device or personal information, and the App does not send it off your device. It is different from the anonymous identifier in Section 4 and is not sent with usage statistics. You can view it on the Settings screen.

2. Purposes of Processing
- To save your game progress so you can continue playing the next time you open the App
- To grant purchased items and to prevent the same item from being granted twice when purchases are restored
- To issue reward codes that work only on your installation, based on the Install ID you give us when contacting support
- To answer your inquiries
- To find and fix the causes of errors and abnormal terminations in the App
- To understand how the App is used (return visits, time spent, which floors are hard) and improve the game
- To avoid showing the consent screen again once you have agreed to the current version
We do not use this information for any other purpose, and we do not use it for personalized advertising or marketing.

3. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are turned off in the current version: paid items in the shop and Restore Purchases are not shown, and no payments take place. The following applies from the version in which in-app purchases are turned on.
Payments for in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the Company does not receive payment information such as card numbers. Payment information is handled under each store operator's privacy policy.
When a purchase is completed, the App verifies the purchase confirmation provided by the store on your device and then grants the item. The purchase confirmation is not sent to the Company's servers in this process.

4. App Usage Statistics, Error Information, and Network Communication
When you first open the App, a consent screen appears. You must expand each item, review it, and agree before the game starts. The information below is sent only after you agree on the consent screen; if you do not agree, nothing is sent. The fact that the consent screen was shown and the record of your consent are sent together right after you agree; if you close the App without agreeing, they are discarded without leaving the device. The Company's server does not store who agreed; only the fact that the consent screen was shown and agreed to, the version agreed to, the number of items on the consent screen, and the time taken to agree are sent as part of the usage statistics.
To improve the service and fix errors, the Company sends the following information to a collection server it operates.
- App usage records such as app launch, exit, installation, and update
- Identifiers of the screens you move between in the App
- Records of key actions in the App: run start and end (result, floor reached, number of falls, and time spent), reaching a rest floor, the floor and cause of a fall, revive offers and choices, skin purchases, unlocks, and equips and random box results, claiming quest, event, reward code (result and type only), and double coin rewards, finishing the first controls guide, sound and vibration setting changes, run information attached to these records (tower and highest floor this run), and the consent screen being shown and agreed to (version, number of items, and time taken)
- Technical information about errors and abnormal terminations
- Usage environment information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and language setting
- An anonymous identifier that groups the above records by installation
Ad reward and in-app purchase records are not sent in the current version, in which advertising and in-app purchases are turned off.

The anonymous identifier is a random value created on your device at installation and is not linked to information that identifies you. Because the App has no login, the Company does not link this value to any individual's account. However, the anonymous identifier stays the same for the same installation until you delete the App, and a new value is created if you delete and reinstall the App.
Error information includes the error type, the error message, and the program execution path leading up to the error. Because of how the App is built for release, source code file names and locations are not revealed, but an error message may contain part of a value that was being processed when the error occurred.
The collection server is operated directly by the Company. While receiving requests, it briefly checks the connecting IP address only to block excessive requests and does not store it. The infrastructure the server runs on and the front-end transport are provided by the companies listed in Section 8.

The following is not sent.
- Information that can identify you, such as your name, email address, or phone number
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) and location
- Screen recordings and the content displayed on screen
- The Install ID shown in Settings and the text of reward codes
- Coordinates of where you touch the screen: the game is played with a control stick that appears wherever you touch, so repeatedly touching the same spot is normal play, and the feature that records touch coordinates is turned off. The common wording on the consent screen also lists this item, but Squishy Tower does not send it

The current version of the App shows no ads and sends no ad requests. The App contains advertising components for possible future use, but they are not active in the current version, and we will revise this policy before turning advertising on.
The only information the App sends off your device is the usage statistics and error information above; apart from that, it only communicates with the operating system's store (App Store or Google Play) to look up product information, make payments, and restore purchases. Game graphics and sound effects are drawn and played on the device from assets bundled with the App, and this does not connect to any external server.

5. Automatic Collection Tools and App Permissions
The App does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or tools that collect behavioral information for personalized advertising. The information in Section 4 is used only to improve the service and fix errors, and is not combined with information collected from other companies' apps or websites to track you or for advertising.
The App does not request device permissions such as camera, photos, location, contacts, or notifications.

6. Information Processed When You Use the Website
The App's website (squishytower.sanglimsoft.com) and sanglimsoft.com, where this policy is posted, are hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit, technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be processed by the hosting provider. The Company does not install visitor analytics tools or ad tracking scripts on these websites and does not use cookies.

7. Customer Support Inquiries
If you contact us through the form on the support page or by email, the Company receives the following information needed to answer and handle your inquiry.
- Your email address, the content of your inquiry, and your Install ID if you choose to provide it
This information is used only to answer your inquiry and to issue reward codes. Inquiries sent through the form are stored in an inquiry database (Supabase), and inquiries sent by email are stored in the Company's mailbox (Outlook).

8. Disclosure to Third Parties, Outsourcing, and International Transfers
The Company does not sell your information or provide it to third parties for advertising purposes. To the extent necessary to operate the service, we use the infrastructure of the following providers. All of them are overseas companies, and information is transferred outside Korea during processing.
- Oracle Corporation (United States): operation of the cloud infrastructure hosting the collection server that receives the usage statistics, error information, and anonymous identifier in Section 4, and its backup; retention follows Section 9
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States and elsewhere): delivering and protecting communication from the App to the collection server (the information in Section 4), website hosting (technical access information), and receiving and forwarding email sent to support@sanglimsoft.com (email address, inquiry content)
- Supabase, Inc. (outside Korea): storing the email address and inquiry content submitted through the support page form
- Discord, Inc. (United States): internal notifications to the operator that a form inquiry has arrived (email address, part of the inquiry content)
- Microsoft Corporation (United States, Outlook.com): receiving and storing inquiry emails and sending replies (email address, inquiry content)
The information in Section 4 is sent over the internet from time to time while you use the App after agreeing. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can decline on the consent screen (in which case the game cannot be started) or delete the App. Except where required by law, we do not provide information to third parties for purposes other than those above without your consent.

9. Retention and Deletion
The usage statistics and error information in Section 4 are kept on the collection server while they are used to improve the service and analyze errors. No automatic deletion period is currently applied to the original records; if you request deletion, we will delete the records linked to your installation's anonymous identifier without delay. Backup copies of the collection server are kept for 30 days and then deleted, so deleted records may remain in backup copies for up to 30 days.
Information stored on your device is kept in the App's private storage and is deleted, including the Install ID and consent record, when you delete the App. On Android, it is also deleted when you clear the App's storage (data) in the App info section of Settings. A new Install ID is created if you reinstall the App.
Game information stored on your device is not stored on the Company's servers, so there is no separate server-side deletion process, and we cannot recover deleted game progress. Non-consumable items such as the skin pack can be restored with Restore Purchases in Settings, but consumable items such as gems and game progress cannot be restored.
If you have turned on your operating system's device backup (such as iCloud Backup or Google backup), information stored on your device may be included in that backup, which is governed by the operating system provider's policies.
Information received through inquiries is kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and to check reward code issuance history, and is destroyed once that purpose has been achieved. Where applicable laws require retention, we keep it for the required period. Technical access information for the website is handled under the hosting provider's policies.

10. Your Rights and Data Deletion Requests
The App has no accounts. You can delete the information stored on your device yourself as described in Section 9 (deleting the App or clearing its data).
For the usage statistics and error information in Section 4 and for information the Company received through inquiries (Section 7), you can request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing. Because the App has no accounts, the Company cannot link a requester to the records in Section 4 on its own. If you tell us your device type and roughly when you installed the App, we will find the matching records and act on them, and if we cannot identify them, we will let you know.
The App has no setting to turn off sending. If you delete the App, sending stops, and if you reinstall it, it starts with a new anonymous identifier.
You can send requests and questions about personal information through the support page (https://squishytower.sanglimsoft.com/en/support) or by email (support@sanglimsoft.com).

11. Children's Privacy
The App does not ask for your age, has no sign-up or login, and does not receive information that identifies individuals such as names or contact details, so it does not knowingly collect personally identifying information from anyone, including children. The usage statistics and error information in Section 4 are processed only per anonymous identifier. The legal guardian of a child under 14 can request access to or deletion of the child's records as described in Section 10, and if we learn that personal information of a child under 14 has been sent to us in an inquiry, we will delete it without delay.

13. Changes to This Policy
When the information we process changes, we revise this policy first and post the changes and the effective date on this page. If a change requires your consent again, the App shows the consent screen again.
September 26, 2026 — Stated in Section 3 that in-app purchases are turned off in the current version.
September 28, 2026 (revised) — The previous version stated that the App does not collect usage statistics or error information and does not communicate with external servers. With usage statistics and error reporting and a first-launch consent screen added to the App, we added the information sent, the consent process, and network communication (Section 4), the operation of the collection server and international transfers (Section 8), and retention and deletion requests (Sections 9 and 10), and revised Sections 1, 2, 5, and 11. We also added per-tower records and the path of your best run, stored on your device, to Section 1. Earlier versions of the App without the consent screen do not send usage statistics or error information.
